Ok well i know i might sound dumb but i heard today he is going to be blocking porn sites in october.. im just wandering if anyone would know if this will affect us cammers or is it nothing to do with us and just general free porn sites ??

Am not sure on the fine prints just yet as it hasn't been officially announced . However what i've gathered so far is this.

All Isp would automatically block as default all pornographic sites. However if you as the subscriber would like access to such material, you should have the option to contact your isp and have the ban lifted.

It's along the line of 18+ verification that you already have to do with some mobile companies. If that makes sense. I guess more information would come to light once the PM has announced it in the house or wherever.

OH right well thats ok then only problem now if he does go ahead with this we will be loosing customers with wives, etc!
I cant realy see it going ahead though as its allready causing rows.

Fingers crossed its just another one of his bullshit ideas!

Oh and i think it was next october anyway not this that he had planned to introduce it.

I guess it's a bitter sweet thing as I can see both sides of the arguments. As I agree that Pedos and the likes should not have an extra avenue to aid in their mis guided approach to sex and kids anything related along those lines.

However I can see the downside from the pov (no pun intended) of a cam girl. Only time will tell.. I shall reserve further speculation, till I have read and understood more of exactly what the Pm is really proposing/doing x

Oh yh i totaly agree on the pedos and rape porn etc that hes trying to get rid of but honestly doing this wont stop it they will find ways around it. Which is why i just think its pointless.

People will always find a way around it, but if it stops just some Peado's then its worth it.

I can't see it making much difference, people use AW etc now and will continue to do so, just means they have to lift the restriction, just like i had to with o2 when i wanted to link my phone to AW.

It will most prob block bingo sites too so they can use this as a way to explain the need to unblock to a wife Ect
