Thinking of joining streammate but confused

Hi, was thinking of joining up but not sure what I'm supposed to do, I want to join the weekly pay haven't made an account with streamate yet. Do I sign up with them first then send you my details or sign up with you first with account name I want to use? Sorry hope you understand my question x
